Image of Yellow Warbler
Yellow Warbler: Sweet, clear whistles, typically with quick "stutter" phrase before final rising or descending note. Much variation, but two common patterns: sweet sweet sweet little-more sweet (NL cut; most common song given by migrants) and sweet sweet sweet me-me-me-too (AK cut). Some lack accented ending and are Nashville-like but with more lisping quality; introductory notes with single syllable (usually two-syllabled in Nashville). Sweet sweet sweet so-so-so-so (WV cut).
